Northern Autumnal Equinox

On 12 November 2024, it is Mars northern autumnal equinox, this marks the transition from northern summer to autumn, and from southern winter to spring on planet Mars.

The equinox on Mars occurs when the Sun is directly over the planet’s equator, resulting in roughly equal sunlight across both hemispheres.

Why is this important?

This is important because equinoxes on Mars represent moments when seasons change and is vitally important for the understanding Martian climate patterns, for example, like the time frame when southern dust storms begin to die down.

What is also interesting is that when we deduct twenty four days it falls back on the Day of Virtue or the Day of Remembrance. This is one of the 7 chodesh days as documented in the Book of Remembrance of Enoch Hagi Essene.
